Taken in morning hours when water was still in Seeta Nadi and I could see the bottom of the river. Reflection is uneven due to polarizing effect.
Requesting comments to improve myself.

this is a lovely scene. I do have a couple of suggestions. the water and its reflection are a little too dark for me and lack detail. IMO, opening up those shadows would add a lot to the image. The fg grass blades are nice and I like that you included them but their placement in the center blocks my view and keeps my eyes from moving easily into the picture. Compositionally, I think they'd add more if they were off to one side. The clarity of the water is very attractive. This image conveys the stillness of early morning very well.

It is nicely composed, but either in exposure or processing something went awry. The color in the water do not match what the sky looks like and the sky is detail-less so there is a disconnect there with me. I would try it again on another still morning.

I like everything except the blank sky. A scroll crop of it works quite nicely, IMO.

Venugopal,

I really like the scene and I especially like the bold presence of the grasses up front. I'd have to disagree with Nancy Lea that the grass blocks the view. I think it's central to the composition.

Technically though I agree that the processing is a little off to me. I can understand the effects of a polarizer, but the area in the reflection just doesn't appear like what I would think polarization would do. Also, there's a dark almost anti-haloing effect between the sky and treeline that doesn't look right.

I think you have a strong image, but some alternative processing might be in order. Thanks for sharing.

Sandy and Ismail
Thanks a ton for your valuable suggestions.

The reddish color in the water is due partial tranperancy created by polasing filter which has transmitted colors of bottom of the river (I totally agree with you that it is not gelling with scene) .

Do you also feel the it is over saturated?

HI Lon

Also thanking you for the valuable comments. The polariing fliter on ultra wide angle (10-20 in my case) gives this anti reflection effect. This blackout (which is behind the grass now) shifts with rotation of the filter. I will post you images with changed angle. You are right, some over processing has caused antihaloing effect. I will try and correct it.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Hi Lon
Vertical shot with changed angle. This is direct conversion of PEF image to Jpg image. Hope, I am excused for not processing it.
