Spooky good. the b&w really brings out the lines and textures in the sand. I'm loving this

Perfect title. I like the cubist quality to this in that feel I'm looking at Mr. Sandman from different perspectives.

Very interesting, David, and quite unique. I really like it. I can't think of a more memorable sand pattern shot.

Altered state indeed! Not only is this fascinating David, it's downright other-worldly. One could stare at this for a while and imagine all kinds of things. Turn this horizontal and I see a cat's head with it's tongue sticking out spewing fire! Wow, can't believe this didn't receive more comments. Must be the holidays...

Great job with the tones too.

Whoah David, this is super cool ! Great eye for this find. Makes me wonder what was there before the tides altered it, and inspires me to look for such scenes when I'm not finding bird on the beach. Curious to know the size of the frame in this. All that said, I gotta tell you, this brings photographic sand art up to a new level, and nice choice going B&W. Most Excellent !!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I framed this several different ways but this angle was the most interesting to me.

Bill,,,,,,this is around two feet on the vertical edge. I've always been fascinated by patterns in sand and spend most of my time on the beach looking down.
