One the three occasions I've been to Capitol Reef, I've always been drawn by the fascinating erosive formations in Capitol Gorge. Cropped to about 80% from bottom left. Larger image included, but had to stomp on it pretty hard to get below the posting limit.

Interesting structure and patterns Bill. Light and exposure look perfect.

Interesting abstract of texture and lines. The weathered stone is intriquing and the details are wonderful

Bill,

Great study of the sandstone, erosion and geology. Nice texture throughout. You mentioned cropping "bottom left," does that mean you have some extra at the bottom? Maybe there's some undesirable elements, but for me the bottom seems a little cramped. Not a biggie though. The only other thing I might work on is the overall contrast and saturation. I think you have some room for boosting the color/sat just a little - not so much that you take it beyond real though.

Sure looks like a fascinating place.

Love the pattern and texture and the nice diagonal lines. I might try bumping up the contrast a bit to try and really bring out the textures ever so slightly but that is just a thought. Nicely done.

There's a nice rhythm to this with the repeating curves at the bottom and repeating textures up above. Agree with Lon that the bottom feels a bit cramped.
