Sandstone Dome

The sandstone "sculptures" along the coast are as interesting as the ocean waves in some places. This water catching hole was no doubt "carved" by wind and water. The dome of the hole was probably about the size of a baseball. The textures and shape were what drew me. Looked like a hat or maybe a volcano cauldron?

Interesting find, Margaret! A hat, an egg, a racetrack, I'm seeing all sorts of things. I like the perspective, but I'm wondering if the framing could be better. A bit wider maybe?

I agree what Dorin just said: I like the subject and the perspective but the framing is a bit too tight for me.
