It was a really dark overcast day so even as dark as it is I think this fairly accurately represents the scene as far as the light goes. An odd thing is that when I looked at this at home it looked severely tilted to the right. I know I had the camera level and I guess it could have been lens distortion but this is shot at a modest 29mm so it's a slight mystery. Anyway had to straighten it quite a bit. Please check out the larger version and thanks for looking.

Excellent comp...this is lavish with qualities of color, structure and balance that delight the eye from corner to corner. One of your best, in my opinion...a solid capture of these falls. Well done, Bruce! The dark cast creates a mood that works...though I might be tempted to brighten it a bit if I were to hang it and not rely on a back-lit monitor for viewing. Yes...print and frame it!

This is gorgeous Bruce, but I would lighten it slightly. :toast:

I echo the sentiments: lighten at least selectively the fence. Luscious colors!

This is awesome but I agree with some other to lighten it slightly.

Thanks for the comments so far. Here's a repost that has been lightened a bit. Too bad I can't repost a larger version too. I agree it has more pop than the original.

Excellent image. The moss covered fence is interesting and has character, so I like its inclusion in the scene. The lighter repost looks better to me on my monitor.

Repost is the winner Bruce. This has a nice soft glow to it which is very appealing. Glad I got to see this and shoot it before they implement the $75 usage fee in January!
