Real nice sense of layers and subdued tones. Very nice understated image.

I like the subtle tones, the layering and the cloud shadow play. I suspect this photo would look better the larger it got.

Eva,
Like Phil, I'm enjoying the subtle tones and the dappled light created by the passing clouds. What I'm unsure about is the exposed sand in the middle of the frame. I can't tell if it's direct light, or simply the sand being exposed and being a brighter tone than the surrounding hills. I might be inclined to tone it down and possibly if you wanted, to warm up that light a bit.
A very nice, straight foward seascape that captures the environs well.

Thanks everyone.
Lon the bright sand in the middle was caused by the light peaking through the clouds. That light made these sand dunes look like a creator. The changing light was spotlighting different potions of this beach and this one caught my eye. I just wish I was at a higher elevation to better catch the turquoise water in this special light.

I really like the many layers which give this a nice depth in spite of the overcast light.

Hi Eva, I agree with the others about the wonderful layers in this image and also the beautifully subdued colors. As I look at this it just keeps getting better and better to me. One of those that just doesn't jump out at you right at first I guess. I'm really appreciating what you captured here as I keep looking at it. There is also a very interesting textured feel that I like here. I too feel that this needs to be seen larger than we can do here to really appreciate it. Excellent work!

Nice play of light on the peaks. There's a lot to see in this, esp the larger version. Love the textures.

Love the play of light on the hills and brooding clouds. Only thing that I might fiddle with a bit Eva is burning in the clouds a bit, especially the upper left area.
