This is most appreciated in the spectacular larger version, David. Superb colors and textures, and the reflections are truly sublime. I love the long exposure effect on the water. A majestic image.

Oh my gosh! The clarity, the detail, the color, the light, the reflection, the depth, etc..... This is another candidate for being my favorite of your cypress images. Gorgeous!!!!

Top tier Cypress image in your trademark style. One of your best. It is so direct and clear. The trunks look like pillars in a cathedral, the foliage like tapestry, banners and the like. Fantastic stuff David!

Great low angle and a good eye for this, David. I love all the moss, the variety of color, and that sweet, soft reflection is mesmerizing. Only wish for a bit more of the reflection. Excellent work!

There is so much depth into this cypress forest David. I especially like the delicate lines of the moss and remaining leaves. Beautifully subtle color and reflection as well.

Wow, this is super, David. I think you've nailed the composition with this...and the slow shutter gives it such a relaxed, romantic mood. Marvelous work, as always.

David, I can't add to what has been said all ready. Wonderful image. Question though. I recall you mostly shoot from some sort of boat and I wonder how you were able to keep everything absolutely still for 20 seconds. The detail is incredible.

Absolutely stunning, David. Everything, composition, light, depth, the contours of the cypress trees, the color, everything is simply amazing. Once again, in complete awe of your imagery.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
Peter,,,,,I use a kayak for transportation but get out and wade most of the time. I shoot practically all landscapes using a tripod. There is a bit of blur in a few of the free hanging strands of moss but unless its truly dead calm that is unavoidable for long exposures. I just rationalize that the overall detail makes up for that little bit of blur.

The detail, the color, the light, the reflection, the textures, the lines. All great. Are you taking these from a boat or land? I love these cypress images.

I've admired your top shelf cypress collection for quite some time, and this is another great addition. I really enjoy the layers from the repeated cypress trunks and the transition of tones from the lighter foliage to the dark trunks. Keep em coming

David, your image has a kind of amazing surrealistic look to me that I really enjoy. Your choice of focal lenght is spot on to my eye, and the reflection just makes the diffrence for me.

The first thoughts are "Masterful" and "Stately". You truly do these giants justice. One slight nit - the moss looks a bit cyan at the top of the frame - perhaps just me though as no one else has mentioned it.
