A Golden Eagle taking flight. This is from the same great trip to the grasslands in central South Dakota this past weekend.

Canon 50D, 400 5.6L, f6.3, 1/3200, no flash.

A very nice shot of a great bird Terry. Maybe just a bit of noise showing up in the plumage in the larger version.
