Cornwall, UK

My take on one of the most popular locations for photographers in the UK.

Canon 5DMkII, 16-35mm, single exposure.

Nice, Kah Kit. I like tonal variations here and the strong FG with the
rock formations.

Also congratulations on your acceptance of'Sturdy Reef Star" in the
Windland Smith Rice International Awards, exhibited in the Fall/
Winter issue of Nature's Best Photography magazine.

Wow, I really like the shapes here. No real nits but I wonder what it might look like from a higher perspective so the big, round rock at right/middle didn't break-up the shoreline? Beauty though, I love the details and tones.

I feel like having an omelet for some reason...
Anyhow, cool shot KK--i might introduce a tiny bit more fg contrast, but otherwise looks great!

Love the perspective, with the stones so prominent in the foreground. Has a primordial feel, perhaps due to the darker foreground and the cloud motion, which is very appealing. Outstanding.

Beautifully done, with lots of interesting elements in the composition from front to back. The light is terrific.

I like your take on the location . . . you filled the frame with lots of interesting features and the long shutter speed also helped, in my opinion, by softening the water and allowing it to contrast with the textures of the rocks.

Kah Kit,

Beautiful coastal image. I think you've done a great job in showcasing these wonderful rounded boulders. Hard to tell as I'm on the laptop and I understand the time of day and light, but I'm almost wishing for a little more brightness and maybe even some contrast just to make them stand out even more. But just a minor suggestion.

Thanks for the comments. I had wondered whether my own monitor was making it look flat too. Here's a brighter more contrasty version.

I immediately though it need a push in the midtones and your repost is the confirmation - much better. In any way it's a great shot and both composition as well as subject are wonderful.

Quintessential Kah Kit. The subject matter and mood go hand in hand. Love the dark earth tones and low angle dramatics.
Nice work for sure

Love those boulders and the soft light. The long exposure effects are very nice here too. The reworked repost has more punch and clarity. Very nice, Kah Kit.

Yes, Kah Kit, a place photographed often, but yours still is quite nice. I like the soft light and subtle shades of gray in both sky and earth.
