Probably some of you will know exactly what this is. I don't know, only that it's probably a fishing thing or a boating thing. In either case, it's not good for eating.

It almost looks like a broken arrow shaft, but probably not. Interesting photo, good exposure and detail. TFS

A pen? Arrow shaft? Straw? Not food, anyway. Good capture. I'm sure you've seen photos of the dead albatross chicks on Midway Island, their gizzards full of plastic...
