Tanked

This was taken mid-afternoon in late October on the Salmon River near Chasm Falls, New York - in an area I haven't previously visited. The old rock building ruins was a surprise, as was the riveted tank stuck in the rocks. The water had been running high a week or so before this and the long grasses were still bent from the flow. Cropped to 4x5 format.

Canon T1i, f/16, 1/2 sec, ISO-200, 19mm, tripod

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

I like the old bridge abutment and the shaped rocks in the foreground. The gas tank (?) is a little too obscured to be effective, except to say man's impact on the stream is ongoing.
