Taken in Alaska on a gray and cloudy day when landscapes would not have looked too good. The colors there were just amazing and there were quite a few of these small scenes available.

Just love all the details in the larger version. Could photograph this for hours and be quite content.

Tom, This is a wonderful arangement of colors. In your large version I feel like I could reach right in and touch these plants.

I agree with what Nick said Tom. The large version does really make me feel that I could reach out and touch them!

Tom,

Wonderful color and detail. In my one and only trip to Alaska I got to see details like this and one could literally get lost in photographing the tundra and all the colors and detail of autumn. I don't have a convincing suggestion, but I think there are any number of cropping alternatives; cropping only as an idea to tighten this up a little. Not that it needs crop... just thinking outloud. Also, I'd like to put a plug in for Tony's Triple play actions. This is a perfect example for his Lights Triple play. I would use it to drop the bright values and increase apparent detail in the brighter yellow leaves. If you haven't tried them I would recommend checking them out.

Anyway, I like this and think you have a beautiful and intimate autumn scene.
