I had an incredible tour in the Eastern Sierra. This is from some light painting on Mobius Arch. Thanks you for all the wonderful comments on my last post!

Hey Justin - Glad your tour of the Sierra went well. While this is certainly a new look to the arch, the color palette just isn't doing it for me. Maybe my monitor, but it looks a bit muddy to me. Hope to see more from your travels there.

The offset composition works for me, but I have to agree with Harry that the colors are a bit off-putting. I can see a shot like this working, but perhaps with a slightly more luminous sky to give it more depth, and a more natural color light that isn't on the same axis as the camera.

Have to agree with the previous comments about the color rendition. It's like back in the film days when we used daylight film under fluorescent or tungsten lighting and you would get that yellow/green color. I do like the light painting combined with the night sky. As far as the composition goes, I might be inclined to tighten up the RH side to take the peak of the arch off dead center. But I think that along with a little color change and you'll have an excellent capture of the Mobius arch.
