Took this a couple of months ago here in Highland County Virginia while visiting a co-worker who operates a maple syrup operation on his family property. He lived part of his childhood in the old but now unoccupied house.
The the house sits...watching time pass....wonder what stories it holds?

Canon 40D, ef24-105L IS @ 24mm, iso 100, 1/125sec, ap, F8, partial metering, handheld. Converted to B&W in CS5.

Hi Dave, your image does promote a sense of mystery. Long neglected and very large.

I too wonder what stories the house could tell. The house is very well exposed.

Wow! Spooky! It's interesting how much life these old structures seem to have. Each image has a very different feel to it!
