I wonder if Joe knows what happened to his truck? We found it slowly rusting away and being overtaken by Salmonberry on the Kestner Homestead near Lake Quinault. Olympic National Park, Washington.

Hi Phillip, I wonder too. Had you considered toning down the greens in the vine? IMO, it jars the eye, and I think denaturing the greens would add to the sense of decay ...

I have a warming polarizer that makes color pop like this with enhanced color films. As soon as I saw the Bigleaf Maple and the Salmon Berry, I knew what region this was from. When I worked for the park, I knew a Marbled Murrelet researcher who lived in a bus that reminds me of this. By the way, is there really a Lost Almost?

Thanks for the comments! looking at it again I do think the greens could be dialed down a notch! No, there is no Lost Almost. Its just a play on "Los Alamos".

I like the juxtaposition between the rusty reds and the bright green. Wasn't there a song with a line about "where have you gone Joe Zedrick, a nation turns it's lonely eyes to you..." written by somebody from Lost Almost.

The colors are pretty intense, but I love the composition and the subject.
