Fall Lingers in Sedona

Fall colors are still along Oak Creek near Sedona. The creek channel made a nice line towards one of the peaks of Mitten Ridge.

This is a gorgeous scene, Doug. The colors are sweet and I really enjoy the little splash of blue leading through the canyon.

This is really nice Doug. The comp and the colors are outstanding. I have never been to Sedona, but plan to make it out there later this year. I am hoping to find some great scenes like this one!

Thanks Jimmy and Walt. I am thinking of cropping the bottom center white rocks, as they are a little distracting and the biottom edge is not really needed. Seems the details certainly show up better in the larger 1200p image.

I really should visit this place and spend time. Really like your vantage point here.

Doug, this is really nice. Good color in the rocks, sky, & foliage. Makes me wish I had gone to West Fork this fall, just not sure I would hike with the thousands of others that are there on the weekends!

This scene is fantastic, Sedona is one of my favorite locations to photograph and you showcased why. The colors on the trees really bring this to the top and you chose a nice strong composition. I can't wait til there is a lot of snow up there. Never have been in the winter.

The small photo can't really show enough detail but the large one is really nice. On my monitor this looks slightly dark. Great job on composition.

Doug,

Excellent autumn landscape from Sedona. You have a very strong composition and despite the diffused almost non-descript light, I like the natural color this is brought out. Well done.

Doug, My very first thought was a crop at the bottom would strengthen the comp and then I saw your own comment below that you are thinking the same. I'd go with that and you'll have a very nice image. I've been to Sedona several times but have not run across this viewpoint. Nice capture.
