From the same beach, different perspective though. From the roadside above, actually. Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts. large version included!

D200,
18-70mm,
soft gnd,
Exposure was 30sec, with a polarizer and a grad, F/11,

Thanks,
Chris

The scene is nicely compressed, would have thought you used a longer lens to achieve this. The warm light is really appealing - might make a good B&W as well. No sign of the grad, nicely done. The little dark seaweed? just a tad distracting on the far right with the smooth lines of the sand.

This is beautiful, Chris. The light and soft colors look wonderful. Your comp looks perfect to me and so does your use of the grad filter. The reflected highlights look great and in the large version the pattern of the foreground water and sand looks fantastic. Along with everything else I think it is the mood you captured that makes this so pleasing to look at. Happy Thanksgiving!

This definitely needs to be viewed large. Love the warm light and mist. The mist gives the image a great mood. Very well done, Chris. It is a beaut. Seems like it needs a slight CCW rotation?

Chris,

Lovely sunrise shot, even considering this was made on the west coast! I think the pano format really makes a strong statement. Absolutelly liked it!

Beautiful seascape Chris. Like others, definitely is better appreciated in the larger view and no doubt will look glorious in print. No nits or suggestions, this is just a wonderfully captured image. Colors are perfect.
