Morning Light

I've had more fun with this bunch of Tulips from Trader Joe's. Absolutely loved the orange color; however, this particular Tulip shot has driven more more than a little crazy! I had just placed fresh water in the vase and a shaft of morning light caught just a portion of one of the Tulips. This was shot at f/16 for 2.5 s using ISO 100, a tripod and a cable release.

Please take the time to view the larger version which shows the flower off to better advantage.

I have six different versions of this shot alone as I played with various PS options. An abstract version was posted in PA, and even that has two different versions!.

Thanks in advance for looking and writing your comments.

Regards,

Carol

The large version shows a color and light excellence. Carol I miss a bit more space at the bottom and I'd prefer a bit sharper the center of the tulip. But otherwise an excellent image.

I'll second Miro's suggestions, but I can see that more depth might make the BG a bit busy.

Hi Carol :wavey: I love the bold lines and color, they remind me of Gauguin and Cezanne. Well done  :jump:
