Once the females of the pride started hunting, this male kept watching them keenly.

Very nice close up with good detail on the larger version, looks like this guy has been is a few scuffles. Well done.

A solid portrait of this impressive guy Jagdeep. The light is perfect and the detail superb. I like the grasses and feel they add to the image, except for the ones protruding from behind its big head, those really lead my eyes away from the lion.

Great portrait. The color, the snarl, and the eye contact really make the image.

Really nice portrait, the snarl is great and the fg grasses fit well.

He's got a great expression, and you have captured it marvellously, Jagdeep. However, just like with the others, the grass in front of his face is not distracting, but those 'growing' out of his head, are.

I prefer the repost without the grasses on the left top. IMHO the best of this portrait is the light in the eyes. Nice image.

Looks good, Jagdeep, you managed to keep the grasses from blocking the important spots (like the eyes). Quite an odd portrait!

Excellent. Heck, I would even like some grasses crossing in the upper right! This is fine as posted!

Nice detail . Really like the open mouth and the grasses around the head. Nice eyes as well.

Wow! Great visual impact Jagdeep, beautiful lighting too! The subject is so wonderful I don't really mind the grass behind it's head in the original, although if this were mine I too would likely have removed them ;^)
