Real nice dynamic fall scene. The greens on the right look a little electric on my monitor, but very minor. Nicely done.

Gets pretty dark up at the top at the back of the stream. I'd suggest a 4x5 crop to focus on the foreground stream and leaves.

Barry, I deliberately make the back part of the stream dark to give more focus on the front of the stream. I didn't want to exclude it for I liked the added length and curve this gave to the stream. I also liked how the stream seemed to be emerging from shade into the light. That was my perspective but see what others think.
Thanks for your comments Barry & Harley.

Indeed a very dynamic fall scene. I love the idea of that comp. This is beautiful. The greens on the right are a minor distraction

Wow! Look at all that color! I like your light to dark comp and the flow of the stream. I do agree with the suggestion to cool off the greens a little. The energy and drama in the image make it very powerful.

Wow! Those colors are electric. Nicely composed. I like seeing the detail under the flowing water in the foreground.

Beautiful! I really like this. Agree about pulling back the greens a little. Maybe even a crop off the top to take away most of the darker area up there.

The fall colors really make this work well, Carolyn. Could maybe see burning the light green in the UR down a bit.

An eye-catcher for sure.
Some colors seem a tad to intense on my monitor
Good depth in the photo with the leading line of the stream.
I don't like overdone moving water and for my eye yours is acceptable.
Good eye; nice capture.

Thanks so much everyone for your comments! I don't do landscape photography a whole lot so your suggestions and comments are very appreciated. I had originally thought the green added to the picture and tried to accent it but maybe I got carried away with that.

This is very nice, Carolyn. The leaves, pine needles and rushing water all look great together. A nice interesting comp! I agree about the green needing toned down a bit. Just personal taste but I also like the idea of cropping the dark upper part off, but fine with it as is. Nice work!

I reworked this photo following commenters suggestions such as toning down the green and cropping a bit off the top. I do think it is a better image now; thanks everyone. Do others think it is better?

Greast find - The pine needles mirror the flow of the water through the image. Perfect intimate fall image. As mentioned, the greens look a little hot in the original, much improved on the repost.
