Morning Reflection

I was attracted to the reflection on the Virgin River in Zion. It shows 3 different colors - blue, orange and green. I spent two mornings to get it right.

Seriously, this is a fresh Court of Patriarch's perspective, i like the strong shadows here and bold color split. One thought--the blue cast is fairly strong on the rocks; i might warm it up just a bit to neutralize that; you could still maintain the blues in the sky and water, if necessary using a mask. Cool!

Nice! You did well to tame the high contrast. I really like the line of the grasses at the top of the banks on the far side of the river. It's a small detail, but adds a lot of interest to the composition.

John - I'm wondering oif you have a vertical captur? All of the excitement for me is in the left half, so maybe a crop if a vertical wasn't shot. The colors are crisp and brilliant.

Those blue and gold colors, especially the reflections, are stunning!...and a vertical comp of this side would be great to see.
