Rain Swept

I was hoping for more fall leaves on the trees, not on the ground, yet this scene lacking them allows the viewer to see the atmosphere better that was created from the pouring rain. It was a nice wet day to be hiking in the Columbia River Gorge. Thanks in advance for taking a look and any feedback left.

Canon 5D (a very wet one) / 17-40L

Really lovely, Adrian. I have no nits. I love the water flow, the leaves on the ground and undergrowth, the haggard look of the trees; all setting the mood of dampness and late autumn. A well crafted image.

Beautiful, Adrian! The hint of fall here makes for a nice contrast/variation in the
colors. Also good detail and well composed.

Very nice. The leaves on the ground make up for the lack of them on the trees. Great composition

Nice late fall composition and colors. Yes, we've pretty much had it for leaves on the trees.

This has a wonderfully gentle feeling, allowing me to hear the rain dripping and the quiet that always accompanies a wet foggy day.

Adrian, this is a consisitent and impressive capture of the scene for me. I especially like the sense of flow in the river, nicely framed by the green and autumn colors to me.

A beautiful forest stream scene, Adrian. Love your comp and the position of the logs in frame. I find the fg on the far bottom left to be a bit bright and a little bit of a boundary to get over and into the scene. Gorgeous shot none the less.
