Highly Overrated!

Canon EOS 7D, EF 500mm f/4L IS USM, Aperture Priority @ f/8 (1/1250 sec), -1 EV, ISO 400, Tripod, JPEG from RAW, About 70% of Full Frame

One of a number of shots I took of this Ring-Tailed Lemur in Southeastern Madagascar during breaks in our conversation about the merits of closing ones eyes on occasion to prevent redness and irritation; the full caption (which is far too long to fit in the subject header!) is actually, “And I'm Telling You, Blinking is Highly Overrated!” ;^)

Critique and comments always welcome.

Ashley,

A remarkable capture, what an expression, and as for those eyes :toast: :toast: :toast:

A very beautiful picture, I really like the eyes of the lemur and the frame of leaves

Great pose and a nice expression on this guy- The subject has terrific detail, and the framing effect of the leaves is excellent on this image- Thanks for sharing, Fabio

Excellent image overall and composition and likely lots of patience to get this pose is appreciated by me. Good sense of humor in the caption. Thumbs up Ashley

Ashley, the eyes certainly have it in this one! I like the lemur's expression and the way you used the vegetation to frame it.

Hi Ashley,

This is a nice photo of a lemur. I like the colour, natural framing provided by the vegetation, and the techs look very solid.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Hey Ashley,
The framing works very well in this image and the eyes really demand attention! Very nicely done!

Very nice light! Like the open mouth and the eyes really pop out.
