From Jean Lafitte NP a few months ago. It's often a challenge to get all the legs in decent focus, but this one turned out pretty good. Slight crop from top left to 4x5 from 4/3rds original. Larger image included.

Very nice species, well depicted- Fine detail, excellent DOF and a pleasant BG on this image- Maybe you could try a very light fill-flash with this one, to give a tad more light on the subject, but maybe I'm wrong about it- Well done, Fabio

This is just great! The dof and background really outstanding and then there is the ultra cool spider itself-the detail is fantastic.

Wonderful close up with detail where it needs to be, I like the background colors and spider web to complete the composition, well seen and well done.

Ah, it's spider time again! Love it!
Exceptional detail and colours here, and great BG.
The soft form of the web adds a lot. If possible, I'd move him down in the frame a bit so there is more room above him/her.
