ISO 500
Handheld from the car (this is the last of my images taken from the card during the rain)

This does have one main focal point, and I'm especially interested to see whether you think that's enough.

Comments and suggestions are desire and appreciated.

Thank you!

Works for me, Barbara. I like the single focus point. Well seen/executed. No suggestions. :toast:

Lovely environmental ` slice ', Barbara - the main flower comes through sharp and clear. Ideally, I would myself prefer the fg blurs to be either not there or stronger, as in a cram - but you couldn't do that through a car window of course. Given the situation I think this works pretty well.

Nice shot in the rain but I think I would like if it was just a tad brighter to see the beautiful colors of the flowers. Good focus on the single flower but maybe a tighter crop would help highlight it more from the busy bg. Kudso to you on not letting some rain stop you from taking pictures.

The in focus flower gives a point of reference and draws your eye and makes sense of the confusion around it. Nice image.

Good looking image Barbara. I like the comp and the blurred blooms. Appealing colors and mood as well.

Hi Barbara :wavey: Love the color and light, I would prefer a horizontal version, That would make a much stronger image

Barbara,
I like the comp and the light. The single focal point works for me too. Well done. :toast:

Barbara: This works for me. There is enough isolation from the BG for the main subject to be apparent and I like the surrounding chaos. Well seen and captured. >=))>
