Sheilebost Beach, Isle of Harris Scotland. The sheer scale of this beach is difficult to describe. The clouds, the light and shadow play on the mountain, and the turquoise water were astoundingly beautiful this particular morning. Taken on a Transient Light Workshop.

One can easily sense the great scale, the starkness and the sheer beauty of the place, Eva! A simple, but great image!

Your work in the conditions at Breton prepared you well for your visit to Scotland, Eva. While this one does not have the impact of all you have posted up until now, it still has drama, beauty, and mood.

A simple and effective comp. It is indeed hard to think about the scale of the beach without a point of reference, and I know you cannot include a person or a chair here, not for this gallery anyway

Beautiful shot Eva. I love the feeling of vastness and aloneness (if that's a word) here. The dappled light on the landmass is fantastic.

A simple but beautiful scene though this one doesn't have the impact on me as your other posted NPN images have.

Eva, you give us just a hint at that wonderful turquoise, and that is what makes the image special to me.

I like the mood and how the subject matter separates in "blocks" of about 1/3 each. You might emphasize the water and ridge by cropping about half of the beach/mudflat.

Simple, but effective thanks to the strong thirds here. Nice shot, Eva! :wavey:

Love the layers and the starkness of the beach, Eva. Gives one a sense of the huge expanse here and how you must have felt experiencing this place.

I love the light in these shots, Eva. Beautiful soft colors too. This comp is rather straight forward, but it's simplicity compliments the soothing mood of the color.
