Saddlebilled Stork fishing ( hope, I'm identifying and spelling it correctly, as I'm not familiar with African birds)
This looks like our Black necked Stork, but it has more colorful beak.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

Incredible bird, looks almost unreal  Anyway, as much as I like the bird, colors, pose and composition both images do not seem very sharp to me, or it must be my tired eyes.. It looks like the focus point was on the body instead if the head or eyes... Still pleasant to look at though, and as I said an real hammer of a species  , Cheers, Hans

Nice composition and what a beauty of a bird! I would agree with Hans on the soft focus on the head and neck.
Regardless I would love to photograph one of these birds......nice job.

Jagdeep, that is one awesome looking stork. I think your focus was fine and the blur in the head and beak is motion blur from the rather slow SS. Gives a sense of action and works ok for me.

A cool look at this bird Jagdeep, maybe a little more room on the right if you have it in the original. :toast:

Yep, that's well identified Jagdeep.
You caught this stunning stork at the right time. Great action.
These seems to be a slight blur in the head, which is probably cause by the fast movement of the bird in his attempt to catch the fish.
I suppose this square image has been cropped, when possible I would like to see a little more space on the right side of the frame.

Thx
Jef

Agree with you friends, it's a motion blur on the head... light was bad on that day.

What a colorful beak, I like the composition and pose plus you can just see the head reflected in the water, nice job in getting this difficult color contrast shot, well done.
