Caught this while walking through my back yard. Not as sharp as I would like, just like to catch what I normally don't see.

Canon 7D, ef70-200L 2.8 IS @ 182mm, iso 200, 1/200sec, AP, F5.6. Handheld. Converted to b&w in CS5. This brought out more of the web.

C&C welcome

Dave

B&W comp is tough as there is only textures, lines and tones to play with. I think the image is quite sharp as the texture in the right portion is nicely shown. Wish for a little more DOF to get the rest of the leaf texture. An alternative is to capture the other side of the leaf which seem to have more texture. Nice bokeh.

Interesting comp and very nice natural-looking conversion. Just a bit more DOF would be nice, but this is really gook for a hand-held shot.

I did get the back side also, it is tough deciding which version to sow to be looked at..

Interesting find, Dave. I like your comp of this. I definitely like the color photo better and the good details shown in that photo.

Interesting. I like the color version just because, but I sure like the conversion for ART. My vote goes for the B&W, well done, and great vision.
