Big Cypress

The sun was just rising as can be seen through the background trees, but what you can't see is all the little tiny welts the mosquitoes left on my face and hands. But it was worth it.
This is from Tuesday at Sweetwater Strand, Big Cypress.

A pretty scene, Wayne. I think the compression has hurt you a bit. It feels slightly chunky in the larger image. Or it could just be PTSD—I've been in too many places like this over the years, on foot.

I agree with Phil about the web compression Wayne. Better in the larger version, but I think a scene like this can only be appreciated really large. Tha smaller version looks busy, but at mural size this would look great!

I see what might be web compression now that its posted. But that doesn't happen often to my posts. So I'm thinking I might have mistakenly capture sharpened it twice.

While it's complex, there is a nice abstract quality to this that is appealing. It feels maybe a bit overexposed in the highlights. Bringing these down would make it look richer, I think.
