This warbler's been around for a week or two now. Just got an action shot of it as it hopped onto a group of leaves in our pond, trying to get at the water for a drink..
F/8, 1/2000th, ISO 640, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x ext, No flash. Clear & sunny around noon.

Another nice one Howard. Great perch, clean background, sharp bird. Nice head turn with a small catch light in the eye. Just perfect exposure too. Well done Howard. :toast:

Good looking bird, and the image held up well to the crop.

Great stuff. Love the detail you captured on this one. Nice pose and the head turn is about as good as it gets.

Superb detail, Howard. You did an excellent job capturing this in such high sun conditions. Nice curved perch and very pleasing background. An awesome image.

Nice one, Howard. You handled the exposure really well here. Attractive pose: enough of a turn towards us to make it more personal. Great clear view of the bird. Fine work.
