Have been down with Flu whole of last week :frown: . Explains my absence.

A simple straight forward shot of the Hibiscus. I have shot this many many times this season but this frame is my favourite.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor, F/16, 1/40 Sec, ISO200, Diffuser and Tripod.

Thanks for any and all comments and suggestions. I will catch up with commenting soon enough.

Ram:
Hope you are getting better already.

This is a very interesting Hibiscus - the anthers and pollen are the same color as the petals. I can see why you like this frame with the swirling red framing the center. The line pattern on the petal accentuates the swirling movement. Beautifully done.

There is a 3D effect created by the gradual darkening of pinks into reds surrounded by the pinwheel effect of the petals. Detail and comp are exceptional as well. In a word... beautiful. :toast:

I love the colors and the comp. The petals pull you right into that deep beautiful center. Lovely!

Great job, Ram, the tones of this image are beautiful and the composition is perfect, as always- The curved lines resemble the diaphragm blades- Stay well, Fabio

I like the spiral effect of the petals leading one to the glowing anthers and pollen. Just as nature intended. really like the simple colour palette. Can see why this was your favorite one Ram.

Ram, I too have taken many photos of hibiscus flowers with this angle and distance, but no one is so beautiful. I think that it's a painting. Really splendid!
Take care.
