Taken at Sugar Grove Nature Center near Bloomington,IL. Most of the flowers have gone, but the prairie areas still seemed to shine with flower gold! Cropped to sort of a pan to keep out some dead plants.

Canon T3i
1/200 @ F-9 ISO 100
Canon 18-55mm @ 55mm tripod, live view
bright sun, gustling winds
pattern metering.

Nicer subject matter, very purty! You aint kiddin about the bright sun though--its really washing out the yellows here, some work in curves (or possibly selective color) might help tame it.

Looks like a floral fabric print. I really like the pano comp. My only wish would be for richer colors, which would be tough in the bright sun. It certainly has the feel of a sweet summer day.

Very nice collection of flowers John. I agree with Stan and Nancy about the colors. Did you use a polarizer here?

Thanks for your comments. I did not use a polarzier. If I get a chance to go back while the flowers are still looking good I will give it a try.
