Northen lights

Taken this summer in Norway. This is Lofoten islands, one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. Apart from working the composition, I had to wait for a while until the light was exactly right, not to soft not to hard.

Taken with my 16-35 at 16mm. Polarizer + NDgrad 2stops hard.

This is a strong, coherent image. Everything seems to be connected here by color, texture, and light

Nice combination of color and light. The lines in the rock help to draw the eye into the rest of the scene. Nice work.

Beautifully soft light and an intriguing composition. Love it!

The way the lit cloud echoes the shape of the distant mountain and how it's placed in the comp is little short of perfection.
