The kind of place I would love. Beautiful morning light and I can just feel the crisp cool morning. The fog really adds to the feel here along with the beautiful cool blue color. I enjoy the small ripples in the water too. Almost looks like a touch of fall in the air! Very pleasing image for me Bill. Nice work!

I think you nailed the moment, Bill! The lifting fog, the slight breeze rippling the water, the beginning of fall colors—really nice! I love an image that invokes remembered feelings! :toast:

Nice comp, and the fog lends to the mood. An image that takes me right there and leads me to an introspective walk along that lake. Very well done.

And wow, Bill! 18,000 comments! Congratulations on your commitment to this forum!

I can feel the chill. the shadows and rich blues keep the temperature of the image cool and the ripples and rising fog give it a serenity I really like.

Bill, you captured a unique moment to my eye. Lighting and exposure is excellent in my opinion, the image reflects the atmosphere impressively to me. I appreciate especially the spontaneity you show us here. Thanks for sharing.

Nice capture of the moment. Fall is coming and I expect to see some of the mist over water myself.

Bill,

Excellent job in taking a "hot light" situation and creating a striking image. Of course the fog/mist rising off the water creates the conditions for the great back lighting here and you did well in capturing this.

And yes indeed, Congratulations on your 18,000th comment. Your images, participation and contributions to NPN are Tops! So glad to have you as part of this community. Thanks Bill! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Special and especially difficult light, Bill. I like the way you handled it. For whatever reason, I don't think I'd've guessed Florida here.

Now this is a bright happy comp. The sun lights up the mist and trees just the way I like. Good job obscuring the sun with the tree.

My favorite from you as of late.
