Here's a horizontal take on the same scene as my last post. The light is a bit less intense here, but the conditions are still good, I think.
ISO 200
F/8, 92 seconds

D300s
Thanks for the feedback on the last shot!

The light combined with the fog is amazing here, Raymond. I like the mysterious feel to this as well. Beautiful work!!

The light is scrumptious, for lack of a better word. Great mood and I like the receding elements in the comp.

Lovely. Of the two, I think I prefer the first, although this one really appeals to me also.

I really like the treatment of this one too Raymond. It invokes such a peaceful and ethereal feeling. Lovely treatment, superb work.

Wow, you make it really difficult to choose between the two! Both are absolutely fantastic. Both are breathtaking.

New to NPN so have not seen first version, but I love this photo. For me what is appealing is how you have captured the quiet (and ever constant) power and rhythm of mother nature. The waters smooth effect conveys this to my eye and the fog adds mystery and creates a special mood. I think the juxtaposition between the raw power and force of nature with it's quiet rhythm and suddle moods is hard to capture in an image, but the reason I enjoy getting outdoors. Must have been amazing to see and experience.

Spectacular light in this beauty, Raymond. The fog projects a lovely warm glow to this scene. Very nicely done.
