What is it? A jelly fish or plant. If you want to know more, go to this page on Wikipedia.

Just discovered that I could do macro with X-ray :jump: In fact x-ray is used commercially to assess seed quality.

GE mammo machine 28kv 40mAmp. Thanks for viewing and C&C appreciated.

Now that is very cool, Gary. I looked at the manual for my camera and can't find that setting. What custom function is this exactly?

Keep up the experimenting, Gary, you are creating fine works :). I like how you kept the traditional b/w feel of a radiograph instead of inverting it. The mammo machine can really resolve the fine details. I'm not sure if you are using digital or film, but did you try a second exposure to penetrate the center and then try HDR on it?

I thought Nigella was a cookbook author (with some great recipes). It looks like a plant. Great shot.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Much appreciated.

Govind:
From your comment, I am guessing you work for GE and you are a colleague of Ram?

Gary:

Yes, I work at GE. I am not sure how old your mammo system is, but I worked on designing one a few years back.

Haven't met Ram yet, but have heard the name. And of course, I see his masterpieces here.

I like this very much, and the same applies to the blossom that you've posted in flora. Stunning.
