Not the most "high tech" photo ever. Taken with an Olympus TG-610 P-n-S camera.
Scene setting as "Landscape"
WB = outo

It's nice enough! I think maybe a higher perspective showing more across the tops of the grasses might have been nice too. Not sure what was between you and the trees, a road maybe?

Thank you Chris. The problem here is that the grass in only about 2.5 meters high and the waste dumped everywhere did not make it a viable option. However when I get back to the area I hope to take "better" pics of these "Gorillas"

Fascinating shapes. Maybe crop some of the sky.

Looks like a very interesting moment. I agree with Tony that you could lose some of the sky. Great idea and captured a very cool mood.

Thank you for the comments.

In actual fact I considered losing the sky but then decided that it actually contribute more to the "mystic" effect to show that it is not localized. Thus I assume that it is a question of preference. Not that I think that your comments are not valid it is just like I said. I will however crop and see what happens.

Thank you for the positive comments.

Always open to positive and constructive comments, after the comments received I cropped the photo and was not happy with the outcome.

Then I decided to ask various people (photographers and non-photographers) that don`t know me to comment on the two versions and without fail ALL of them like the uncropped version much better than the cropped version. I asked them why and they commented that the cropped version look unnatural, unbalanced and just plain blunt.

I rest my case :confused:
