This is another shot from the trip to the Rheinfall in Schaffhausen/switzerland last spring. This is not a classic view of the falls. I tried some new composition and I hope this one works.
I took this one about 5:30 in the moring....a couple of minutes before sunrise. I was hoping for a sunrise shot but unfortunately we had some fog this morning.

Techs: Nikon D700,AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm @24mm 3sec, F13, iso 200

Thanks for any comments and thoughts.

The falls in the large version are delicious. A real treat. I find the flags a little distracting in the smaller version but don't notice them as much in the larger because the vitality of the falls is an eye magnet.

What a terrific location. Composition works well but I'm wondering about a panoramic crop too.

Wonderful perspective Bill. I like the balance of elements in this a little better than your last post, but both are wonderful in providing a sense of place..

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
@Kah Kit: I was thinking about a pano crop as well but then decided to leave it as. I'm going back there in fall to photograph the fall in fall foliage. So I am going to take a panoramic view then.
