Gaillardia Composite

This is, finally, something for the August Photo Art theme.

The left and center flowers have been posted in Flora individually. The right flower was shot same day, same time but has not been posted individually.

The background is a textured paper that I created several months ago from a grunge texture blended with an image I shot of grass. The original colors were purple, but I modified the hue for this image.

David, I'm really glad to have had the opportunity and prompting to learn about doing composites. Thank you.

Barbara, it totally amazes me what you are able to do now compared to one year ago. I really like this image - the bright colors, the composition and the subdued, textured background. Since I know you like critical critiques, my only suggestion would be a little more room on the top of the image.

Nice work Barbara, I like the stems and think they add nicely to the image. Maybe a touch more room on top.
