Nearly through the moult. Fist session at my original pool , which I have just re built after 32 years. Took 7 liners out ! Front bird not all sharp but can't win em all. The pale blobs are Birch seeds fallen from a nearby tree. Not sure whether to take them out or not.
Did one clump near the bird

John, I like the positions of the birds and they are sharp enough for me. The white blobs don't bother me, but the brown blob at (roughly) the ULH intersection does. I would clone this out if it were mine.

32 years and 7 liners = lots of work. Nice job getting both in focus with head turns and they both have some interesting color patterns. Maybe a lower perspective angle but other wise a fine image with good detail on the larger version, well done.

I think this is quite nice, John. You comment on the sharpness of the front bird, but it actually is more than acceptable and both birds are well within the range. I like their relative positions and the comp you have chosen.

I really like the composition and poses of the 2 birds here. Perfect alert poses, with good enough separation between the 2 birds, and I like the diagonal of the water/shore line.
