Canon 7D, 400mm 5.6 lens, 1/3200 sec, ISO 500, approx 60% crop. Taken in bright sunlight. I thought that this behavior was to do with mating until Gary Yeoh informed me that these are males fighting for territory.

Wonderful, dynamic image! The diagonal composition is excellent - and the motion blur in the wings is gorgeous. I love the soft background and the beautiful colors. Well done!

What a great capture, Roger. Interesting drama to observe the action going on here and you also managed to get both dragonfly bodies fairly sharp. Great comp and BG also.

Great to catch two of them, both in focus!
The motion blur of the wings adds a lot, and nice BG too.
Very nice!
