Just spent 3 days in Mt Rainier. I stopped at this lookout one evening to watch the sunset. The mountain range in front of me stretches to the edge of sky.

Great colours and mood. with that delightful aerial perspective and receding tones lovely.
I'm sure the open shadow evangelists will complain but whilst a little more detail in the foreground would be a
bonus I'm not sure it wouldn't kill the mood.

Beautiful colors to compliment the layering ridgelines, John. It may be just me because no one else has mentioned it, but the FG ridge looks a touch soft.

I like the pano format and the color, but just a wee bit more detail, mainly for shape separation of the mountains. I would leave the closest black, just try to separate out the layers.

John - I love the strong colors and silhouette here. I think there is just enough separation in the layers. Beautiful image.
