Been shooting backyard flora lately, and while we have several of these plants I don't know the name. But the bg flowers are Zinnias, some small, some large.

Oh, I didn't know we were at an ice cream social. I'll take the lime sorbet thanks. Wonderful summer pastels Wayne.

Wayne:
The bg is terrific with the wash of pastel color. I like the fg bloom as well but not sure about the OOF echo... seems to distract more than support the main subject. This could just be me.

The variety of pastel colors is amazing. Colorful doesn't begin to describe it. A beautifully crafted image.

Like the soft feel, the background is stunning, would have liked to have a stronger foreground, the blue flower a bit more saturated, just stronger. But nevertheless a nice dreamy image.

Beautiful colors and light Wayne. I also like the detail in the in focus subject. The second flower doesn't work that well for me and actually tends to mask the first. I think I'm in a minority on that though in that most folks tend to like subject echoes in the image from the same plant variety. I almost never do, at least not if they overlap. Regardless, this is a striking image with a very appealing mood.

Very well composed and captured Wayne. The simplicity of the main bloom and BG color range are a wonderful marriage.

Very delicate image Wayne. I'd almost like to see the two flowers separated a little more, splitting the image up a little, but that's personal taste. It's very well done.

Exquisite colouring and a fine composition, Wayne. The gentle flow of the stems and flowers across the frame against the spread of colours in the bg really bring out the delicacy of the subject. Lovely image !!

Wayne: A color junkie's fix for a month! I might like this a bit better without the echoing flower but it is sure beautiful as is. Well done.>=))>
