One of my favourite Australian birds. The sight of a flock of these flying through the gum trees; bright yellow with long black tails and black flight feathers is breathtaking.

cheers

You do seem to have more than your fair share of spectacular birds in Australia! This is a very nice shot. DOF looks spot on. It would be good to see how the bird's colours look in warmer early/late light.

A very clean and well executed image. The muted BKG really off-sets the bright colour of the bird perfectly. Looks like a good RoT's for composition too. A cracking image.

Great pose, brilliant colours, and another look at the gorgeous birds "down under".
I'm VERY envious of the wide array of Australian birds..

Beautiful subject Rob, easy to understand why it's one of your favourites :^) Nice to see some detail in the yellow plumage and of course the background sets the subject off perfectly.

Wonderful pose, look and perch from this parrot. You always seem to line up the best backgrounds to compliment your images. Excellent shot Rob, well seen and well done.

Lovely image Rob. A first for me. Nice and sharp and well exposed in the overcast conditions. The light spot above the parrot's head is a bit distracting and my only nit. Well done.
