A shot I grabbed couple years back in the Superior National Forest,MN.
It held long enough for me to sneak up to decent telephoto range. Taken with Nikon F-100 and 250-500mm Tamron lens.

Jeff,
I've found that it is best to shoot Ravens (or crows) in early morning or late afternoon light or on days when the light is diffused by high thin clouds. It looks like the light here was not optimal. I think the comp would be stronger with less of the green at the top and I'd be tempted to reduce the saturation of the greens. I do like the head turn the bird gave you, kind of an over the shoulder look bac.
