Breakfast

This is my first image of an African Darter with its breakfast. As the name implies, this bird spears its prey with it's sharp bill and then tosses it in the air, catches it and swallows it whole and alive. The shot conditions were not ideal as the bird was int he shade and I had to administer some noise reduction with Noise Ninja.
