Nikon D300, 50mm, F/16, 1/250, ISO 200.

The lines and the white and light pastel colors evoke a serene mood, hope you enjoy. Comments appreciated.

I really like the shades of pink, red, white, and pastel colors, Albert. The left side of the image is nowhere as fascinating as the center and right side. Is they any way you can bring out some of the detail. Possibly using luminosity masks might help, but not sure what you have done. Another possibility is simply cropping the image to a square format.

Regards,

Carol

Albert:
The curve sharp edge is clearly the center of attention in this comp and I like the wash of pastel pink in the bg petals. I agree with Carol that the most interesting part of the image is in the center and as an alternative you could experiment with a square or portrait crop removing some from the left and more of the right. This is good as posted though.

Superb, Albert. I am incredibly delighted to see you getting a terrific feel for the 50mm+ET Combination. I like the curves going diagonally in the frame and the straight veins bisecting it.

Good exposure also :toast: . Keep going.

Yes, serenity Albert in the splendid sinuous line, but also tension in the stark diagonal line in the background. I love the photo for this contrast.
Take care.

Reminds me of the Northern Lights yet in a pastel mode. The sweeping shapes make this a very fluid image, Albert.
