Mowich Outlet

Still a lot of dirty snow around the lake but I managed to find a clean area along the bank of the outlet. Looks a bit murky, maybe calibration targets need tweaking? Is the bright fg too distracting? Nik's version of Orton applied.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Bruce, I'm really enjoying looking at this. I think you came up with a very interesting comp here too. I love the colors in this and the detail looks wonderful. I can't quite decide if the foreground is too bright, but thinking it is not. I think because it is such a nice blue tone that it works quite well. Otherwise I could see cropping a little off the bottom which I also think looks good. I think your processing looks great. Nice work!

For me the reflection is a little bit distracting. Have you considered a crop just below the point where the foliage meets the waterline on the lower left side of the image? Aside from that I think it's a beautiful image.

I like this just fine, Bruce. I don't mind the reflection at all. Sure beats having a clear sky above the trees.

Bruce, colors and processing of your image are wonderful for me, and I especially like the fantastic details.

In my opinion, cropping about a quarter at the bottom would help me to concentrate on the tree scene, that is the main area of interest and focal point for me.

The large version's detail in the darker areas shows this off much better. I agree with a crop off of the bottom to bring the shoreline into more prominence. I really like your processing here, too.
