Nice subject with a good background (though it looks a little noisy). Detail is good but wish for more on the head

Good one Ron. A Parnassian? Not sure of the spelling. I live on the coast where butterflies (and even mosquitoes) are prertty scarce. Last summer one of these butterflies would fly over my backyard every afternoon at 3:00 but would never land. One showed up this year and finally landed. My daughter wanted to know what was up and I told her a Parnassian had landed. I followed the butterfly until it departed with her looking closely over my shoulder without much luck. It came back the next day and co-operated. I'll post a shot for you. The transparent wings make this an excellent photo subject. It looks like I should plant more yarrow.

BF numbers are down this year in HK for some reason?? global warming?? don't know.

Nice capture Ron. The detail in the wings is great. I agree with Luke it needs just a little more DOF in the body and head.
