Finally got a sunny morning at Bolsa Chica Eco Reserve. This is an image I like because I have not captured a pose (kind of a peak a boo) before.

I do like the pose, Harry. That wing position is great. To my eye, the Tern's head seems just a bit soft.

Harry, I like the poseand how the wings frame the face of the tern, the catchlight and the nice blue tones of the water. I might consider a touch more sharpening of the head, minus the bill and the brightest whites of the head, the eye looks a bit soft to me. We don't seem to see Elegant terns posted here very often.

I too like the pose. I agree the head/eye isn't as sharp as I'd like.
